COLOR AMBIENTE

colorambiente 2023ColorAmbiente 18° 2023 Edition  - Vinner is Sofia Mengoni. Title of the opera "La storia e la vita"

ORIM S.p.A., in collaboration with the Liceo Artistico (Art High School) of Macerata, has been supporting since 2004 a pictorial contest on environment called “ColorAmbiente”.

Every year the Board of Directors of ORIM S.p.A. together with the Teachers of Liceo Artistico, chooses a different topic, the main theme always being the Environment, for the students of Liceo Artistico to develop, supervised and guided by the teachers. Once the sketches have been drawn, they are displayed for one week in April at Antichi Forni in Macerata, so that everyone can visit the exhibition and vote the sketch they consider the most suitable to the topic chosen.

At the end of the exhibition the Board of Directors of ORIM chooses the most representative among the five sketches most voted by the people, and the winner is awarded a sum of money for the artwork. Once the winner is chosen, the sketch is reproduced, in a 6m by 3m size, by professional mural painters on the boundary wall of the ORIM Plant. The mural is then usually revealed to the public by the end of May, and all citizens are invited to take part to the inauguration ceremony at ORIM S.p.A plant at no. 65 Via D. Concordia, in Piediripa, Macerata. Moreover, it is important to underline that such event has been patronising for two years by the Rotary Club Macerata.

In conclusion, it is interesting to stress the continuity of “ColorAmbiente”, whose various topics from 2004 until today have been ranging as follows:
